Astraware Classic Collection is a pack of three programs. It includes a compendium of board games, solitaire games and sudoku.
Each of the programs is fairly rich in options. Sudoku has a good range of difficulty levels to suit all players. Boardgames includes 8 traditional games like Chess, Ludo and Tic-Tac-Toe, which can be played either against the CPU or friends - though it doesn't feature online play. Solitaire has 12 different versions of the card game, including our favorite, 'Idiots Delight'.
Presentation throughout is functional and attractive without being too flashy, and the sound effects are minimal but useful (these can be turned off). All the games feature comprehensive instructions, in-game hints if necessary, and there are tutorials for Sudoku too, which add to the overall feeling of a well put together package.
There is nothing surprising about Astraware Classic Collection, but all the games work perfectly, and are accessible for beginners and experts alike.
